Ian B. Hoffenberg
Mr. Hoffenberg possesses an extensive background in handling complex litigation matters while serving as general and special counsel to numerous contractors and manufacturers in the home improvement industry. His practice is centered on corporate and business litigation defense, commercial transactional matters, commercial and real estate litigation, and insurance matters.
Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Hoffenberg worked as inside counsel for a prominent international law firm advising fellow attorneys on relevant matters. Mr. Hoffenberg’s experience also includes writing memorandum opinions on a wide variety of civil cases as a judicial clerk in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, as well as subsequently working in private practice as an advocate attorney on all aspects of complex litigation matters.
After graduating from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in December 2001, Ian Hoffenberg worked as a traffic prosecutor for the City of Chicago while studying for the bar exam. Mr. Hoffenberg is also a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he completed a bachelor of arts in literature. He is a graduate of Chicago Kent College of Law where he graduated with honors and was recognized for his academic achievements.
